We achieve this through our comprehensive Health and Safety program, which relies on the cohesive effort, support, and cooperation of all employees to eliminate unsafe conditions and prevent accidents. All our employees undergo rigorous health and safety training.
OTIS conducts all operations in compliance with Industry Codes, Regulations, Laws, and Standards, considering this our prime responsibility. If an operation or function is deemed unsafe, we immediately stop work, assess the situation, and seek alternative solu- tions. To ensure consistent adherence to Health, Safety, and Environmental guide- lines, we have established a Health and Safety Committee.
The committee's main functions include developing policies and procedures to achieve the firm's goals while following stringent safety guidelines and acting as a resource for employees. Management routinely reviews and revises these policies. Each employee is expected to abide by the company's health and safety policies and procedures. Failure to do so will result in disciplinary measures.
